ehSteve My only complaint is that the time I get to spend in this alternate universe is so fleeting. Thank you for this gem. Favorite track: Red Sugars.

Gary Rees Sweeping synths set up rich atmospherics for delicious quirky leads. Tasty and tasteful beats permeate. Fresh chords and melodies impress. Lots of creativity and originality make this a must-listen if you appreciate new ideas. Favorite track: ISO7001.

Hydro Fyter This release is solid all around. The eerie synth tones blend so well with the shuffling grooves of the drums. It has a lofi vibe with a lot of clarity. The rhythmic patterns are stellar!! One of the best of 2021!! Favorite track: Drydock.

"Conceived as “scores for an alternative TV broadcast,” “Silent Graphs” is full of rich, otherworldly synth songs that paint vivid pictures." - Bandcamp New & Notables, April 10th.

"...He is not trying to recreate or relive the past, he is making up a completely different past. And that alternative past is a fascinating trip that is well worth repeated listenings. " - Lars Haur, On the Fringes of Sound.

"I tried to envision these tunes as the bumpers, jingles, or scores for an alternative television broadcast. Something akin to Liquid Television, going a ways back. I held onto this sentiment when writing, to foster experimentation, but also to provide a voice, or guiding light. It's a personal reminder that the 'aesthetic' choices in music play an important role in maintaining a strong relationship with the listener. There's no doubt the past year influenced my music towards a darker, more abstracted direction. It is hauntological in so far as I always aim to establish imaginary boundaries with the music; a place that exists outside of the mundane. Not something fantastical, but something illusory."
