Pip From The Forge Beautiful album. Its rich layers and gorgeous melancholic melodies are woven together brilliantly. Favorite track: What We Found On Mansel Island.

DJ SpaceTerrapin This here is an odd one...feels like climbing out of a gravity well, or travelling to the other side of the asteroid belt, it's getting looser and freer halfway through the album. Wonderful sound design, with lots of hidden depth and traps, it takes you on a wondrous journey. Heard it thrice in a row, getting more and more into it. A grower!! Strongly recommended. Favorite track: Lone Cedars.
Shady Ridge Records

Shady Ridge Records Two of my favorite artists at the moment showcasing a haunting and relaxing album through Lo-fi vintage tones and progressions. Favorite track: Mt. Norquay.
Letters From Mouse
Letters From Mouse thumbnail
Letters From Mouse I'm in the boat and I have thrown my oars over the side so I can let the current take me where it wants. That's how to listen to this excellent album. Two of my favourite producers have combined to create a wonderful collection of dreamy floating tunes that are well constructed and delivered and give a captivating listening experience. Will be playing a track on The Magic Window on madwaspradio.com on 13/09.

fran3000 A meticulously crafted record with no wonderfully executed beat and melody spared. This record is focused right down to the smallest details on composition and production. It is a sonic joy of melancholy, retro-futuristic codas that permeate throughout the record yet no two songs sound the same. The album moves forward from beginning to end.
Kh3rtis Kollects

Kh3rtis Kollects A wonderful mash from these two melancholic musicians. Full of mystery. Cpektir and Survey Channel have blended incredibly well as a team. As frequencies affect each other to cause phase shift, the sounds of these two gentlemen, when combined, weave a wonderful tapestry. Favorite track: Twoist Parade.

about

Myriagon Atlas was recorded during June and July of 2020 with Edmonton’s Cpektir and Buffalo’s SURVEY CHANNEL collaborating remotely, sending their contributions back and forth throughout the summer. The imagery they hope to evoke and which they themselves used to inspire the mood of the album is a boat ride to Mansel Island, an uninhabited island in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. Consider Myriagon Atlas a mental map of the imaginative thought process, but in this case it’s ok to get lost.
